NQCranes removes the crane from the dragline and transports to our Mackay workshop. An assessment is given of the hoist and crane prior to stripping. We then remove the hoist off beam, rope guide and rope and conduct a complete run test of equipment and parts. NQCranes overhauls or replaces all necessary parts, fits the crane with an NQCranes electronic latch system and repaints the crane including updated signage. After in-house load testing and calibration, NQCranes transports the crane back to site and reinstalls into the dragline.
Overhauls are organised months in advance with our mining customers, to suit upcoming scheduled shutdown work. This reduces crane downtime and ensures project reliability during major dragline shutdowns between NQCranes and our customer.Read More
